What’s the Suka Suka Story? Masia tells it as it is…
As a Singaporean native, travelling to Jamaica I fell in love with a simpler way of life; spending days on white sand beaches with the delicious smells of savoury Jerk BBQ grilling in the air. I returned home and embarked on creating a Jerk marinade right here in SE Asia that is all natural, free of preservatives and accurate in taste.
In a jar of Suka Suka, the smokey Pimento, spicy Scotch Bonnet and signature Caribbean herbs and spices give this Jerk marinade its one of a kind flavour! Beyond the food, each Suka Suka jar contains a code that links to a playlist of SE Asian musicians creating island inspired music including Reggae, Ska, Dancehall and Afrobeats. With these unforgettable island vibes for the world to share ... I present to you Asia's first authentic, all natural Jerk marinade: Suka Suka Sauce! Bringing West and East together, our mission is simple: To share One Love, One Jerk meal at a time. #SukaSukaSauce

What is Jerk?
Jerk is a style of cooking from Jamaica where meat or vegetables are marinated with a spicy and flavourful mixture of spices. Jerk cooking has developed a following beyond the West Indies, to US and Western European cosmopolitan urban centres with Caribbean communities, where dishes like "Jerk chicken” have become very popular dish worldwide. Jerk marinade can also be used for fish, shrimp, beef, vegetables, tofu and more. The most important ingredients for
Suka Suka Jerk are Pimento and Scotch bonnet peppers, grown for the first time, right here in Southeast Asia. Blended with cloves, cinnamon, scallions, nutmeg, thyme, garlic, brown sugar, ginger, and salt, this is not a tangy & fragrant experience you’d want to miss.
